バンコクでは、ハトやキジバトはエサを探してバルコニーにやってくるわけではありません。巣作りと休息のためにやってくるのです。街の喧騒から離れた静かで雨風をしのげる場所が彼らの狙いであり、一度つがいが定住すると、巣を作り、卵を産み、何度も同じ場所に戻ってきます。エアコン室外機の裏にある散らかった小枝の束から始まったものが、あっという間に常設のねぐらになってしまいます。
巣があることは、見た目が悪いというだけではありません。排水を詰まらせ、壁や配線に湿気をもたらし、室内に侵入するダニやトリサシダニを発生させます。巣を放置する期間が長くなるほど、撤去が難しくなり、より多くの汚れが残ります。適切に巣を取り除き、その後スペースを清掃することこそが、バルコニーを取り戻す唯一の方法です。

Do you remove nests that have eggs or baby birds in them?
Empty and abandoned nests are removed right away. If a nest holds eggs or live chicks, we handle it carefully and lawfully, and we explain your options before doing anything. In some cases the best step is to wait a short while until the chicks have left.
Is it legal to remove a bird nest in Thailand?
Common city pigeons and doves can be dealt with, but Thai animal-protection rules still apply, especially when a nest is active with eggs or chicks. Our team works within those rules, so you stay on the right side of the law.
Where do birds usually nest on a balcony?
The favourite spots are behind and on top of the air-conditioner unit, inside drains and drainage trays, on high ledges, and among stored clutter. These quiet, hidden corners are exactly what nesting birds look for.
Will the birds come back after the nest is removed?
They may try, since they remember a good roost. Removing the nest and then taking away the sheltered spot makes it far less likely. We show you which gaps and corners to close off so the balcony stops being an inviting place to sleep.
Do you clean up the mess after removing the nest?
Yes. We clear the droppings and debris, flush the drains and air-conditioner trays, and disinfect the surfaces, so the area is left clean and safe to use.
Can a nest really damage my air-conditioner or cause a leak?
Yes. Twigs and feathers block the drainage tray and pipe, the water backs up, and you get leaks and damp. Nesting material sitting against the wiring and fan is also a fire risk.
How long does nest removal take?
Most balconies are done in a single visit. Heavy or long-established nests in hard-to-reach spots can take a little longer.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Not necessarily. As long as access to the balcony is arranged, our team can do the work while you are out.
What about the mites and the smell left behind?
Both are dealt with during the cleanup. Disinfection kills the bacteria and clears out the mites, and removing the damp nesting material takes the smell with it.
Can I combine this with a full balcony clean?
Yes. Many customers add a balcony deep clean or bird poop removal during the same visit, so the whole space is sorted in one go.
